What Does Trappsol® Mean?
Trappsol® is the brand CTD uses for the cyclodextrins it provides. The name assures you the material you purchase is of the finest possible quality, manufactured and analytically verified at our cGMP-compliant facility in Gainesville, FL.
The letter designations after the Trappsol name indicate the actual cyclodextrin type. For example:
Whenever possible, catalog numbers correspond to the cyclodextrin's systematic name. Products are organized by parent class: Alpha (α), Beta (β), and Gamma (γ) cyclodextrins.
Quality Standards
Every Trappsol® product is analytically characterized before release. Standard analytical packages include HPLC purity, Karl Fischer water content, residue on ignition, optical rotation, and heavy metals testing where required.
